• When you arrange to meet a potential client, always tell a friend where you are going and when you will return. Leave the name and telephone number of the person you are meeting with a friend or on your user page on Yellowikis.

• Selling with a partner is much more effective (and fun). Take someone with you to your meetings. They can listen to your technique and give you feedback and ideas on how to improve. It is also much safer.

• Never arrange for a client to meet you at your own home.

• Meet in a public place at a time when there are other people around.

• When the meeting is over, leave on your own.

• Selling and flirting are sometimes confused by clients. It is not a good idea to mix business with pleasure. If a client wants to take you out on a date rather than pay you for adding a company to Yellowikis arrange to do it at a different time and place.
